What you’ll love and hate

The staff was incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure my family felt comfortable. The rooms were clean and maintained well, even if a bit dated.

Unfortunately, the lack of air conditioning in the bedroom made sleeping challenging on hot nights. Our room was also missing a sheet for the couch, which disrupted our comfort.

The décor was charming, but the pillows were shockingly flat and uncomfortable.

Unexpected comforts in an old gem

We were pleasantly surprised by the clean room and comfy bed after driving into the older-looking motel. The staff were welcoming and helpful with local tips.

We had a wonderful stay, especially enjoying the kids' play area. The fire pit for s'mores was a hit! Plus, the staff were incredibly friendly, making our family feel welcome. Our room had all the essentials, which made our picnic plans easy to manage.

In my wife’s opinion, more activities for kids would be great.

I found the charming décor and lovely flower borders quite delightful. The staff were very accommodating, ensuring a pleasant experience for senior guests like myself. I especially appreciated the beautiful handcrafted wood pieces around the motel.

The pillows were shockingly flat, making it difficult to get any rest. We had to place towels underneath to try and sleep, which left us with sore necks. Additionally, the heater was malfunctioning, leaving us boiling all night and unable to adjust the temperature.

We loved the spacious room and comfy beds. We easily explored nearby hiking trails and enjoyed local restaurants. The fridge and microwave were super convenient. The owner was friendly and helpful, which made our stay even better.

Ask for a room on the second floor to enjoy a quieter stay, away from any noise from the parking area.
